When you create an account and use TaskTribe, we collect the following information:

• Account Information: Your full name and email address, provided during registration.
• Profile Information: Any additional profile details you choose to add, such as display name or premium status.
• Task Data: Task titles, descriptions, categories, budgets, zip codes, city/state, photos, date needed, and recurrence preferences that you post.
• Messages: Messages you send to other users in connection with specific tasks.
• Reviews: Star ratings and written comments you leave for other users after completed tasks.
• Saved Searches / Alerts: Keywords, categories, and zip codes you save for task alert notifications.
• Location Data: Zip codes and, when provided, geographic coordinates (latitude/longitude) derived from your zip code to power location-based task search.
• Photos: Images you upload when posting a task, stored via our file hosting service.

• To create and manage your account.
• To display your tasks and profile to other users of the platform.
• To facilitate messaging between task posters and taskers.
• To send you email notifications when new tasks match your saved search alerts.
• To display reviews and ratings on user profiles and task detail pages.
• To provide location-based task search and map features.
• To manage premium membership access and features.
• To respond to support and contact inquiries submitted via contact@tasktribeusa.com.

Certain information is visible to other authenticated users of the platform:

• Your display name and premium status on task listings and your profile.
• Tasks you post, including their title, description, category, location (city/state or zip code), budget, and photos.
• Reviews you write and reviews written about you.
• Messages you send to other users within task conversations.

Your data is stored securely on the Base44 platform. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, but no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

We use session tokens and local browser storage to keep you logged in and maintain your preferences (such as search view mode). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

If you purchase a Premium membership, payment is processed through our payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details. Your premium status is stored on your account and controls access to features such as contacting task posters.

If you create a saved search alert, we may send you email notifications when tasks matching your criteria are posted. You can delete your alerts at any time from the Alerts page to stop receiving these emails.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Tasks, messages, and reviews associated with your account are retained for platform functionality. If you wish to delete your account or specific data, please contact us at contact@tasktribeusa.com.

TaskTribe is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with their information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of TaskTribe after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
